It was possible to vote normally despite wifi and computer issues. People from neighboring villages who had problems voting were able to vote in Vilobí. It was one of the live broadcast points for Catalan TV station TV3 in the Girona province.
There were tractors blocking access and protecting the centre. A community lunch (botifarrada) was held and people stayed all day in the village square where the polling station is located. The street (Travessia Casa de la Vila) has since been renamed “Travessia del Primer d’Octubre 2017.”
